Wonderful!
Wonderful! is a podcast for joyful and enthusiastic people that like hearing about the passions, big and small, of other people. Each week Griffin and Rachel McElroy will talk about things they love and invite listeners to write in with their treasured items of enthusiasm. Topics may include movies, television, sports, books, drinks, eats, animals, methods of transportation, cooking implements, types of clothing, places in the world, imaginary places, fictional characters, and fonts, to name a few. The objective of this project was to create a logo and basic branding guidelines to match the positive energy of the podcast and develop touch points that were relevant to its message.
Calendar and Stickers
This desk calendar was made as a piece of merchandise to fit the message of the podcast. Each month it gives an example of wonders discussed on the show with episode numbers so the episode can be referenced. The small illustrations of their heads are by Louie Zong who illustrated their current podcast cover art. There is then a section of open lines to allow for users to put in their own wonders in each month The podcast is not only for Griffin and Rachel to discuss what they’re enthusiastic about but also to encourage listeners to consider the wonders in their every day lives. The stickers are a companion to this calendar using similar motifs.
